2nd Annual Walk Against Sexual Abuse of our Children
On April 29, the #YoDigoNoMas, (I Say No More) movement in collaboration with the Yonkers School District and the Mayor of Yonkers, will host the Second Walk Against Sexual Abuse of Children. A “silent pandemic” that affects millions of children and families.
When we join forces, we can make an impact. The goal of this walk is raising awareness and the need to prevent sexual abuse of our children.
The Walk will begin at City Hall in Yonkers at 11:00 am and will finish at Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter School, where the supporters can enjoy complimentary food, music, and family activities.
For the months of April and May, the organization will host workshops in the area by psychologists, and therapists, to provide information and education to children, parents, and caregivers.
Can’t make it to the walk, but want to join our cause?
You can also help our cause with donations. $1 dollar can make a difference. The proceeds will go towards the development of an education curriculum for 8th-grade students in the Yonkers School District.
With your help, we can distribute this curriculum to many more schools around the world. Your donation can make a difference! Together we can stop the silent pandemic that is sexual abuse.
